OBJECTIVES OF IQAC

  1. To develop structured processes for continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of institutional performance.
  2. To strengthen governance, leadership, and institutional planning.
  3. To enhance the quality of teaching, learning, and evaluation through innovative practices.
  4. To promote the use of ICT and digital tools in teaching, learning, and administration.
  5. To improve student support services, employability, and holistic development.
  6. To identify, adopt, and document best practices for institutional development.
  7. To support accreditation and quality assurance processes.

FUNCTIONS OF IQAC

  1. Designing and implementing quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
  2. Facilitating academic planning, curriculum delivery, and evaluation monitoring.
  3. Organizing faculty development programmes, workshops, and seminars.
  4. Collecting, analyzing, and acting upon feedback from students, alumni, parents, employers, and other stakeholders.
  5. Conducting academic and administrative reviews for quality enhancement.
  6. Maintaining systematic documentation of institutional activities, innovations, and outcomes.
  7. Preparing and submitting the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC.
  8. Promoting inter-departmental collaboration, research, and innovative practices.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND ENHANCEMENT MECHANISMS

  1. Preparation and monitoring of academic calendar and action plans.
  2. Periodic review of teaching–learning methodologies and assessment practices.
  3. Promotion of ICT-enabled teaching, digital learning, and blended learning.
  4. Capacity-building programmes for faculty and staff.
  5. Monitoring research, publications, seminars, and collaborative projects.
  6. Strengthening extension, outreach, and community engagement programmes.
  7. Implementation of feedback, grievance redressal, and mentoring systems.
  8. Review of infrastructure utilization and learning resources.
